In this collection, the body is reduced to the extreme: a hand, a gesture, a touch. Each design is born from a configuration of the fingers — which meet, repel, seek each other. There are no faces, no whole bodies: only the detail that tells everything.
Here too, each work is presented in two versions, positive and negative, to underline the passage of meaning and the ambivalence of the gesture.
The drawing does not represent: it traces a tension. An agreement not yet concluded, an interrupted contact, an intimacy that does not show itself.
Under the FonTs signature, the date appears in Roman numerals, a discreet but precise sign of the instant in which that configuration took shape.
These images do not illustrate a concept. They evoke it, break it down, leave it suspended. The hand, reduced to its most essential movement, it becomes a form of language.
