Speaking of the RGB color format, let’s consider four pairs of colors with maximum hue contrast: Black (0,0,0) and White (255,255,255), Cyan (0,255,255) and Red (255,0,0), Magenta (255,0,255) and Green (0,255,0), Yellow (255,255,0) and Blue (0,0,255). These colors act as couples in FonTsland. They demonstrate the medium of transition perceived across the negative and positive image exchange.
In a digital format the RGB range of colors is demonstrated below

In general, each color can be associated with its “opposite”, these are found on the diagram above.
In what follows geometrically the opposite is the mirror point in the RGB cube with respect to its center (127.5,127.5,127.5). The notion of “opposite color” is often used in FonTsland formats.
TIME AND CALENDARS
The perception we have of time advancing inexorably and the organization of our lives, commonly passes through a calendar.
The theme of calendars is very interesting both in terms of offset (i.e., Christian religion driven calendars have the birth of Jesus Christ as their origin, but there are many others) , and in terms of the calculation of the leap year. The ratio between the rotation time of Earth around the Sun and the rotation time of Earth on its axis is not an integer. Considering a year as made up of 365 days, an annual deficit of 5 hours, 48 minutes and 45 seconds accumulates.
The Gregorian calendar adds one day every 4 years to handle this accumulation but there are many other calendars handling this error with different approaches.
To discover some math about leap years Dr.FonTs suggests web-search “continued fractions and leap year”.

Dr.FonTs signs works referring to the Gregorian Calendar with a format that uses a Roman Date.
In this chapter “Calendar in FONTSLAND” for every day, a digital image with a height of 600 pixels and a width of 1000 pixels is produced. There are two inputs:
1) The Date (day, month and year) of the Gregorian calendar
2) An RGB color (red, green and blue channel values)
A first image is produced setting it’s background as the input color and the date in Roman format is centered with the opposite color. Below is an example for ther date February, 17th 2023 and input color (0,0,0). Note that the opposite color here is (255,255,255).

A second image is then produced adding the date in the American format to the microstructure. Enlarging the image you’ll see it.

The font used here is Rubik-ExtraBold. To know more about fonts used in FONTSLAND visit the Fonts and FONTSLAND chapter.
Digital Images from this Format started to be minted on a daily basis on January 1st 2023 contributing to the growing Opensea FonTsea collection.
In order to access the elements of Calendar in FONTSLAND visit FonTsea collection and select a date by filtering either the ROMAN DATE or the AMERICAN DATE property. That’s up to you.
################
Properties of the NFTs are:
MINTING DATE as the minting date in Roman Date Format
ROMAN DATE as the reference date in Roman Date Format
AMERICAN DATE as the reference date in American format
WEEKDAY as the weekday of the date
R is the Red channel value for the reference day
G is the Green channel value for the reference day
B is the Blue channel value for the reference day
RGB as the identifier of the color formatted as (R,G,B)
Refer to the Color Roadmap to know more about the connection between the MINTING DATE and the input RGB.
