Before discussing this Chapter an introduction of Lenna’s character is mandatory because she is the cornerstone of all the image processing algorithms tests.
The writer’s opinion is that Wikipedia page is quite accurate hence there won’t be any comments about the choice of this specific picture. An UNCENSORED picture is used in what follows because the opinion of the author is that censoring something that was publicly available on playboy in the past makes no sense.

Given as input a digital color Image IMG and a RGB color C the “Shades of Lenna” algorithm works as follows:
I) The color image is turned into a Black and White picture
II) A one dimensional axis of colors linking C to its complimentary color is built.
III) The Black and White picture is re-formatted into this new one dimensional axis. This is the output of the algorithm.
A relevant corner case of this algorithm, giving a grasp of its mechanism, is when the color is white (255,255,255). In this case the output is the negative of the Black and White picture.
The following image is the combination of six outputs of this algorithm, taking as input at the top (from left to right) colors Red (255,0,0), Green (0,255,0) and Blue (0,0,255) and at the bottom Cyan (0,255,255), Magenta (255,0,255) and Yellow (255,255,0).

Every day starting from February 13th 2023 a unique NFT was minted contributing to the FonTsea collection.
The rule for the title of each NFT is the following: Lenna + # + n. Where n is the number of days passed since January 17th 2023.
The title for February 16th 2023 is Lenna #31.
PROPERTIES on Opensea are:
ALGORITHM fed with value ‘Lenna’
MINTING DATE as the minting date in Roman Date Format
As an example in order to access Lenna NFT on Date February 16th 2023 (Roman Date XVI|II|MMXXIII):
- Go to FonTsea Collection
- Filter the property MINTING DATE selecting as a value XVI|II|MMXXIII and the property ALGORITHM selecting as value ‘Lenna’
Refer to the Color Roadmap to know more about the connection between the minting date and the input color.
