Jesus!

In this collection, the figure of Christ is emptied of solemnity and brought back to matter: an essential, fragile body, often exposed to minimal and everyday gestures.

Here too each drawing is duplicated in positive and negative, Because meaning always emerges from a confrontation: between light and shadow, between gesture and meaning, between faith and automatism. The faces disappear. The details are reduced. The naked form remains, often immobile, inhabited by invisible tensions.

The cross is only an echo, martyrdom a routine.

Under the FonTs signature, each work bears a date in Roman numerals, not as a decoration, but as a stamp of existence: a testimony that each image is linked to a precise day of vision and creation.

These works do not seek to scandalise, but to question: What remains of the sacred when we free it from the liturgical framework? What does the symbol become, once stripped of context?
